I feel like this season has not accomplished anything. “Ripper-Stefan” for a few episodes and hello “Saint-Stefan” is back on track and let’s all forget everything he ever did because it’s Stefan. Let’s stir something up in Elena, make her seem to have developed feelings for Damon, make everything have potential and then throw it out the window because we writers know perfectly how to screw things up.

I’m seriously annoyed with everything and I have a hard time understanding everything that has happened. Elena chose Stefan. Taking aside the other circumstances, the car crash and Alaric, she chose Stefan. And they can’t even put real reasoning behind it but “she met him first” and “he’s the safer choice”? If you want to make fucking sense with your show then maybe you should consider actually taking the step into the love triangle and not fiddle around back and forth with Stefan and Elena while Damon seems like the intruder of the epic love story in all of this.

It didn’t accomplish anything. Except maybe Damon losing his best friend, watching him die once and then again in his arms. Making him believe once again that he is not enough and that he never is. Showing us that no matter what Stefan does he can get away with it and everyone forgives him, loves him, chooses him, while Damon can do his best and doesn’t get one thing in return. Just the feeling of being second best. As always.
