Did anyone else catch it? When Elena said something along “how can I choose?” during the porch scene, and Damon glanced at Stefan and gave him a nod, like go ahead, willing to give up that moment to Stefan - but Stefan didn’t take it, because he couldn’t do that to his brother, and they walked away together.
This just made me cry.
